Love to hate Christmas holiday Foods

Does Christmas time, make you cringe, as you hate the holidays because of all the sugar-filled snacks, so let's set our tables this year so that there are " NO FOODS OFF LIMITS"

If you are anything like me and have certain foods that known can cause havoc and mayhem, for your children as they have sensitive guts or are still learning to become better eaters, then this may be useful.

If you are playing hostess for xmas day it is super important that all the finger foods you serve are safe.

Let your children attempt to try and eat, all food so there's nothing they see is off limits and that they see themselves as having all the control in the choices they make.

As we all known we should never leave children alone while eating. As small peeps such as toddlers have a desire to put everything in their mouths, and it is very easy for them to choke on such foods.

Some foods to avoid as, these foods have been known to cause choking.

Whole grapes

Whole cherry tomatoes

Whole or chopped nuts

Fruits with stones such as cherries

Bony fish (always check thoroughly for bones first)

l am not saying don't have fancy tempting christmas treats but bemindful for your children as they are in most cases going to favour a candy and chocolate, to that of a full christmas meal.

By having an amazing amount of colored along with a variety of different foods on offer and a supply of healthy snacks on hand at all times, and of course loads of water, everyone is bound to have a wonderful day.
