Stacey - Kids Who Know - Qld/NSW helps to nurture and empower our Happy Little peeps in two ways:
Kids Who Know workshops along with our online portal provides our children of today with the essentials for life in terms of what they need to know and understand in order to create and enjoy positive human interactions and thus succeed socially and emotionally.
Kids Who Know reduces the risks associated with everyday hazards thus reducing preventable accidents in children.
They way in which, this is achieved is by providing our engaging, entertaining and positive learning workshop environment as well as the additional support they are able to do the online interactive learning experience at home . This in turns allows both the students and their families to be able to discuss the experience the children take away from the workshop and the online portal.
Stacey - Kids Who Know - Qld/NSW runs workshops for ages 4-8yr in small pre-prep groups they are ran extramural on a weekly basis. Unless it’s a school holiday workshop. There are twenty sequential workshops over two, ten week semesters, with the option of fortnightly if there is enough participates to run it. My workshop size’s are small with a maximum of 6 children minimum of 4. We encourage each group to name themselves as a process of team building. Workshop programmes starts on commencement that there are minimum number of attendees for all modules and initial once off sign-up fee is paid.
Kids Who Know introduces a group of four animated Super star children character that are friends, Zack, Zi, Zanzi and Flash, each who have their own distinct personality. These four are believable child characters who are a little older and who interact, in a way, like mentors, much like older children would do at school. They are central to the programme and play an integral part in the storytelling. Young students quickly and naturally develop an affinity with one or more of these characters.
Kids Who Know consists of 20 modules covering twenty topics. These are Safety around Chemicals, Water Safety, Fire Safety, Sun Safety, Road and Traffic Safety Electricity Safety as well as universally accepted social concepts like Honesty, Friendship, Manners, Kindness. Kids Who Know also includes the opportunity for parents or carers to become involved by keeping them updated with the concepts each module covers. It also provides parents with quality time extension activities and resources which can be done with the student.
It also provides useful safety checklists which can assist in reducing hazards around the home.
