Benefits of Fingerplay and Rhymes
The benefits of learning rhymes and actions with fingerplay is that it is fun edutainment and its something you can do as a family.
Reciting rhymes helps your childto speak more confidently
Numeracy is being taught so they are learning all about numbers
The children are developing and improving their listening skills
As a you and other family members starting playing and singing along, the child then becomes the centre of attention as he or she is being praised for the amazing effort and this in turn also creates unique opportunities to strength family ties and connections
The learner becomes the teacher, once he or she knows a few they become confident so their self confidence and self esteem builds as they share with friends and family.
The Child gets to learn all about the order of sequence. For example : First action and then the following action needed.
Fine motorskills are being developed, along with had and eye coordination, great fro strengthing muscles nad also encourage to hold and grip a pencil and other smaller objects.
The children are learning to imitate what they are hearing and seeing.
Along with using their hands to express themselves with.
The children also learn how to stay focused as they increase their attention along with being able to follow directions.
