“HOW TO MAKE A DREAM BOARD WITH YOUR KIDS”

l love what a vision board / dream board represents all the things you want to achieve through out year I totally believe that it is never too early to start putting these wonderful creations together to manifest what a wonderful life you can have:

This can also be seen as your mission statement of the things you are grateful for as well.

  • Goals

  • Unlocking your dreams

  • What you want in your world (careers, life, holidays, fun, laughter, great health, better grades, prosperity, happiness, love, patience, friends and family)

How to start it is you need to make a time and have your resources at the ready.

Equipment: You need a good pair of scissors to cut out the images you are wanting to use and glue and also a make a decision as to what you are going to attach your pictures to, such as cardboard, pin board, canvas etc:

  1. I like to have a chat with the peeps about the pictures they might, want to use, such as theme, colours. In addition to this we also discover what their dreams and are.

  2. Have an abundance of magazines to search through, including plenty of ones that cater to your little friend’s dreams. Search through magazines for the images that are attracted to them (as such speak to you). Old picture storybooks like Disney, movie flyers, and toy catalogues, travel and car brochures, book club catalogues as well.

  3. Give clear instructions, on how the process will work, time limits and expectations on how we achieve our dream boards. With my little peeps we have loads of prep, we discuss how long we will search and then cut out our images for and then how much time we will need to arrange our images including the time to glue them to our board. (We use a kitchen timer)

  4. Be distraction free, this means shut down ipads, turn off computers, T.V iphones and any other gadgets you might feel will take you away from being in the moment. As in my opinion, l feels this is a great time for bonding with your child and or classroom.

  5. Have an idea where you will be showcasing your works of art so that you are able to see them everyday. Let the inspiration and visualization start unfolding as your world begins changing and your dreams start appearing in record time.
